Michelangelo — El tocco dell’Eterno
Michelangelo Buonarroti was a sculptor, painter, architect and thinker — one of the greatest masters of the High Renaissance.
He worked for nine Popes, created some of the most monumental fresco cycles in art history, and sculpted figures in which marble seems alive. His work established the image of the human being as the center of the universe — physically powerful and spiritually elevated.
A contemporary of Leonardo da Vinci and an inspiration to Raphael, Michelangelo is rightfully considered one of the titans of the Renaissance.
